I have now added well over 100 pictures from the red carpet, backstage/audience and show from yesterday’s 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards! Tina looked fantastic in a dress by Oscar de la Renta as she arrived to the show, and was absolutely hilarious in the opening sketch of the show. Unfortunately 30 Rock didn’t win any awards, but here’s to next year’s Emmys!

Tina Fey also attended the after party hosted by AMC (Mad Men’s home). Early this morning she returned to New York City to continue filming on the new season of 30 Rock.

The red carpet show has started and the stars are on their way to the Nokia Theatre for the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards. According to Deadline.com, Tina Fey will take part in a big dance number that will open the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards tonight! Read the article below to find out more. Tina in a dance number? This is one awesome thing I must see!

According to my source inside the Nokia Theatre today, the big opening number features host Jimmy Fallon coming out alone with an electric guitar and singing/playing “Born to Run.” Then he is joined by Randy Jackson from American Idol on bass.

Then by a dance troupe consisting of Mad Men’s Jon Hamm, 30 Rock’s Tina Fey, Community/Talk Soup’s Joel McHale, and Glee’s Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch. (There’s also a very buxom blonde whom my source couldn’t ID.)Robin Antin, creator of the Pussycat Dolls, was choreographing. ”I left at 5 PM. I think it’s going to take a lot more time to whip the number into shape,” my insider predicted.

Tonight is “TV’s biggest night” – the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards! As mentioned before, Tina Fey is set to present an award during the show, but is also nominated for Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of Liz Lemon in 30 Rock (which is nominated for Best Comedy Series).

Not every Emmy nominee, presenter or attendee is in line to get the best gowns and cocktail dresses from designers Europe and New York. In fact, it’s a tough time of year to get gowns: the spring 2011 ones have not been shown yet, a lot of the fall 2010 gowns have already been worn by celebs – and there really isn’t enough pre-spring/resort to go around for the entire Television Academy. And couture? That was shown in Europe in July – but not that many television actresses – outside of Sarah Jessica Parker – can score couture.

If someone does wear couture or Armani Prive’, we’ll know they have clout in Europe. By all accounts, the actress with the biggest reach to designers is January Jones. She’s beautiful, thin and on a very hot show. If Blake Lively and Leighton Meester attend (they aren’t on the presenters list right now), they would also be able to score Chanel or Dior or Versace.

After that group, it comes down to Tina Fey, Lea Michelle from “Glee,” Diana Argon from “Glee” – the most attractive women on the hottest shows. “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks falls in there, too. Not far behind are Eva Longoria Parker and Sofia Vergara – just because they make the clothes look good, and have good connections in the fashion community. We hear January and Tina already have their gowns made, and aren’t going to change their minds. Lucky designers who made clothes for them.

I know this might be a bit spoilerific, but since last season of 30 Rock ended as it did, it was bound to happen: Matt Damon is reprising his role as pilot Carol in the next season!

There were rumors earlier this month from Katrina Bowden (Cerie) that Matt Damon would be returning for the forthcoming season, and it was double confirmed via Twitter. Sherri Shepherd (co-host of The View and Tracy Jordan’s wife on 30 Rock) updated her Twitter saying “OMG!! I’m on set @ 30 Rock next to Tina Fey & MATT DAMON is sitting behind me. I went over & said hi — think I just got pregnant! Jamal Damon.”

Although it isn’t an official press release, I don’t think we can get it more confirmed than that anyway. Are you happy with the return of Carol on the show?
