First of all, I’d like to apologize for the lack of updates as of late. I’ve been very busy offline and haven’t been able to use a computer for almost a week. HD screen captures of all the recent 30 Rock episodes as well as photos from the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” Costume Institute Gala at The Metropolitan Museum of Art will be added soon. Now on to today’s update!
At the request of millions of fans, Betty White will host Saturday Night Live tomorrow with musical guest Jay-Z. So why are we talking about this on a Tina Fey-fansite? Simply because Tina will guest host the show with lots of other comedy actresses. Check out TV promo below to find out who are hosting the show, and be sure to watch SNL tomorrow!
Here are a few video clips from yesterday’s episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Tina Fey. She was hysterical and I especially liked the Sarah Palin-skit, the teacher-skit (it was funny, and you can’t go wrong with Tina dancing and singing) and the Brownie Husband commercial. Watch some of the clips below, or on SNL’s official website. Screen captures are up next!

As y’all probably know, Tina Fey hosted Saturday Night Live yesterday. The episode was hilarious and Tina was awesome in so many skits (including one as Sarah Palin). I haven’t been able to find the episode in HD quality yet, but here are regular sized screen captures of the photoshoot Tina did for the show.
She looks beautiful in them, so be sure to take a look. One of them even features a bit of her daughter Alice! Stay tuned for screen captures and video clips from the show.
As you all probably know, Tina Fey is hosting Saturday Night Live tonight with musical guest Justin Bieber. To promote the show, NBC has released a few short – but hilarious – promo spots. Check them out below, and don’t forget to tune in to SNL tonight to see Tina do her dead-on impression of Sarah Palin and more!
Tina Fey Fan will provide you with coverage from the show tomorrow, so be sure to return then!
According to WNBC News via People.com, Betty White will host NBC’s Saturday Night Live on May 8. Besides featuring the Golden Girl, who was the subject of a Facebook campaign to get her the gig, the special Mother’s Day episode will also reunite six former female SNL cast members, most of whom happen to be moms: Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Molly Shannon, Maya Rudolph, Ana Gasteyer and Rachel Dratch.
So this means not one but two appearances for Tina Fey on Saturday Night Live this spring? For real? Can’t wait!
It’s official! Tina Fey herself confirmed that she’ll host Saturday Night Live, while being interviewed at the Oscars! The episode will air April 10 with teen sensation Justin Bieber as the musical guest. Check back for more information about Tina’s appearance on SNL, and watch the video of Tina talking about the show below:
Sources confirm to EW’s Michael Ausiello exclusively that Saturday Night Live is thisclose to signing TV legend Betty White to host the show for the very first time. But there’s a catch — and a pretty cool one at that.
White would not be hosting alone. Rather, SNL is putting together a “Women of Comedy” episode that would team the former Rose Nylund with several of her younger contemporaries. Ex-SNL MVP Molly Shannon is on board, I hear, and feelers have also been put out to Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. (An NBC spokesperson insists no one has been confirmed at this time.)
This tag-team approach will allow Lorne Michaels to appease White-on-SNL zealots (half a million and counting!) without making the 88-year-old shoulder the burden of all 90 minutes on her own. And hey, anything that gives Fey an opportunity to dust off her Sarah Palin impersonation — as she’s rumored to be considering — is okay with me.
What do you think of this? Would you prefer Tina doing a “Women of Comedy” episode or host one all by herself? I will report more on this when available!
Great news, guys! Tina Fey told The Associated Press that she will host Saturday Night Live in April! The question everyone wants answered is “will she reprise her famous impression of Sarah Palin?”.
“It’s inevitable that we’ll try it, at least,” Fey said in an interview Tuesday. “We’ll see if it makes it to air.”
Officials at the NBC sketch show wouldn’t comment; SNL generally doesn’t discuss any planned sketches, given that much can change even in the hours before show time. Fey’s performances as the former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential candidate were an icon of the 2008 campaign and drew huge ratings for SNL.
Fey made four appearances on the show as Palin, earning her an Emmy in September for guest actor. She was also voted 2008’s AP Entertainer of the Year. The comedian said the whole experience was “a little overwhelming.”
“It was the strangest thing that’s ever happened to me,” Fey said. “I’ve never had anything fall in my lap like that. Everything is usually me trying to convince the people of Earth that it’s OK for me to perform. … That felt like the opposite.”
The 39-year-old Fey was a head writer and cast member of SNL before leaving to create the sitcom 30 Rock, on which she stars. She also stars alongside Steve Carell in the big-screen comedy Date Night, which will be released April 9.
