Access is exclusively on the set of Tina Fey’s new Garnier Nutrisse commercial, of which she is now the new spokesperson, for a behind-the-scenes look at the “30 Rock” star showing off her beautifully colored locks and her gray Tulle skirt. So, how is shooting this different from her NBC show?

The former star of The Office will executive produce Laughing Stock, a new comedy series hosted by David Steinberg featuring interviews with some of what Showtime topper David Nevis dubbed the “best comedic minds of the last five decades.”

The 10-episode half-hour interview series will feature one-on-one interviews exploring the art of comedy with such talent as Jerry Seinfeld, Tina Fey, Larry David, Mel Brooks, Carl Reiner, Ellen DeGeneres and Judd Apatow. Steinberg will executive produce in addition to his duties as host.

“I’m glad to hear that Tracy apologized for his comments. Stand-up comics may have the right to ‘work out’ their material in its ugliest and rawest form in front of an audience, but the violent imagery of Tracy’s rant was disturbing to me at a time when homophobic hate crimes continue to be a life-threatening issue for the GLBT Community. It also doesn’t line up with the Tracy Morgan I know, who is not a hateful man and is generally much too sleepy and self-centered to ever hurt another person.

Fey continued: “I hope for his sake that Tracy’s apology will be accepted as sincere by his gay and lesbian coworkers at 30 Rock, without whom Tracy would not have lines to say, clothes to wear, sets to stand on, scene partners to act with, or a printed-out paycheck from accounting to put in his pocket. The other producers and I pride ourselves on 30 Rock being a diverse, safe, and fair workplace.”

According to an eye-witness report, Morgan had said in his performance that “the gays needed to quit being p—ies and not be whining about something as insignificant as bullying” and that if his son that was gay “he better come home and talk to him like a man…or he would pull out a knife and stab that little [n-----] to death.”

Morgan apologized for the rant, saying in a statement, “I’m not a hateful person and don’t condone any kind of violence against others. While I am an equal opportunity jokester, and my friends know what is in my heart, even in a comedy club this clearly went too far and was not funny in any context.” But the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation issued a statement afterward saying Morgan needs to do more. The organization urged Morgan to “meet with family members who have lost children to anti-gay violence in order to help him understand exactly why his rant touched so deep a nerve.”

If Oprah Winfrey has that jellying effect on Liz Lemon, Tina Fey, the woman who writes and plays her, has the same impact on her own fans. Fey inspires visceral reactions in people. Mention her name, and certain subsets of the population will start blushing (male, nerdy), falling over themselves in Liz Lemon-style excitement (female, educated) or enthusiastically singing her praises (most of the people who have worked with her). As Fey’s long-time boss and collaborator Lorne Michaels has commented, “There is a group of people who feel Tina can do no wrong in my eyes. But that’s because she’s just wrong less often than other people.”

The 30 Rock star is five months along, her rep confirms to PEOPLE. Fey and her husband, composer Jeff Richmond, also have a 5-year-old daughter, Alice.

Fey, 40, shared the news during an appearance to promote her new book, Bossypants, and an upcoming Saturday Night Live reunion. Oprah’s chat with Fey is scheduled to air April 12.

Tina Fey will be given the Mark Twain Prize for American Humour on November 9 in Washington DC.

Among those paying tribute to Fey will be her former Saturday Night Live castmates Fred Armisen, Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers, as well as the show’s creator Lorne Michaels. Other celebrities honouring Fey will include Betty White, Jennifer Hudson and frequent SNL guest host Steve Martin.

The ceremony will be broadcast on PBS stations across the US on November 14.

So excited for Tina! This is a huge honor and she truly deserves it.

Not every Emmy nominee, presenter or attendee is in line to get the best gowns and cocktail dresses from designers Europe and New York. In fact, it’s a tough time of year to get gowns: the spring 2011 ones have not been shown yet, a lot of the fall 2010 gowns have already been worn by celebs – and there really isn’t enough pre-spring/resort to go around for the entire Television Academy. And couture? That was shown in Europe in July – but not that many television actresses – outside of Sarah Jessica Parker – can score couture.

If someone does wear couture or Armani Prive’, we’ll know they have clout in Europe. By all accounts, the actress with the biggest reach to designers is January Jones. She’s beautiful, thin and on a very hot show. If Blake Lively and Leighton Meester attend (they aren’t on the presenters list right now), they would also be able to score Chanel or Dior or Versace.

After that group, it comes down to Tina Fey, Lea Michelle from “Glee,” Diana Argon from “Glee” – the most attractive women on the hottest shows. “Mad Men’s” Christina Hendricks falls in there, too. Not far behind are Eva Longoria Parker and Sofia Vergara – just because they make the clothes look good, and have good connections in the fashion community. We hear January and Tina already have their gowns made, and aren’t going to change their minds. Lucky designers who made clothes for them.
