Earlier today, Tina Fey and Will Ferrell appeared on a special Halloween episode of the Today show. The duo went to the Rockefeller Plaza dressed as their characters from Megamind – in theaters November 5 – and were joined by the hosts, who were in full costumes too. Check out a few pictures from the interview as well as a video of their appearance below!
Just as the title so cleverly (right?) said, this is an update with tons of Megamind-related videos! It ranges from movie clips and featurettes to an interview with our Tina Fey. View some of them below, and the rest after the cut! Warning for spoilers!

Below is a very interesting article from the press conference for Megamind that was held yesterday. Tina Fey talks about the live episode of 30 Rock, being honored with the Mark Twain award and, of course, Megamind. Read the entire article at HitFix.com.
Considering how busy Tina Fey’s work schedule is as the executive producer and star of “30 Rock,” not to mention her busy summers as a movie star shooting films such a “Date Night,” it’s hard to believe she’d put herself through two live performances of “30 Rock” on Oct. 14. Speaking at a press conference for her new DreamWorks Animated film “Megamind” today, Fey admitted the rare live show was a lot of fun, but took a toll on the “30 Rock” cast.
“We were all very tired the next day,” Fey says. “When you do ‘SNL’ you wake up the next day and think someone hit you with a piece of luggage. It was a very big challenge. I don’t know if we will ever do it again. And it oddly cost a lot of money to do, so it will be up to NBC. But it was a very positive experience.”
The stunt gave the show a notable ratings bump, but whether NBC will pay for it again remains to be seen.
As for “Megamind,” Fey plays Roxanne Richi, a spunky reporter who is continuously kidnapped by the “evil” Megamind (Will Ferrell) and then rescued by the hunky Metro Man (Brad Pitt). When Metro City’s big hero seemingly dies because of Megamind, both the villain and the reporter’s worlds feel somewhat empty. Can you imagine what happens next? Fey says she thinks her animated avatar reminds her of a young Sharon Osbourne, but she’s not complaining.
“I like her short hair and I like that she’s got an ample can,” Fey says. “I found the recording sessions very freeing, because you can really try things. There is a complete absence of vanity while you are [recording] it. I found it very fun.”
Yes, this is somewhat Tina-related. According to TheHollywoodNews.com, a massive event took place in Los Angeles yesterday featuring actor Will Ferrell, as he attempted to break the world record for number of costumed superheroes in one place. It was the first time ever that 1580 people dressed as superheroes had been in the same place at the same time.
Taking place at the Staples Center in LA, and to coincide with Ferrell’s new animated superhero flick Megamind, the event was officially recorded by Guinness World Record reps. The event also kicked off Megamonth, a month long series of events to celebrate the release of the film, which also features the voices of Brad Pitt, Jonah Hill and Tina Fey. Apparently, even Spider-Man genius creator Stan Lee was also spotted at the event.
Take a look at a few images from the event at TheHollywoodNews.com

Meryl Streep and Tina Fey are eyeing roles in Stanley Tucci’s comedy Mommy & Me, reports the Los Angeles Times.
The project, in the early stages of development, would see Streep and Fey play a mother and daughter with Tucci stepping behind the camera to direct. Sony Pictures is the current frontrunner to pick up Mommy & Me with the attached cast.
Tucci previously worked with Streep on The Devil Wears Prada and Julie & Julia. Streep recently starred in rom-com It’s Complicated, while 30 Rock‘s Fey appeared opposite Steve Carell in Date Night.
