As mentioned in several previous posts, the live episode of 30 Rock – entitled 5.04 “Live Show” – aired Thursday night. It was a great episode and it was nice to see Tina Fey and the cast perform in front of a live audience.

I added HD screen captures from the East Coast version (the one that aired first) on Friday, but as I was in a rush I didn’t have the time to post an update about it. It was another stellar one, delivered perfectly by the entire cast (including guest star Queen Latifah).

Yesterday, Tina Fey took part of Comedy Central’s Night of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert for Autism Education. She appeared on stage with Jon Stewart, where she presented her 2011 swimsuit calendar featuring hilariously photoshopped pictures of her in various swimsuits and settings. She posed backstage with co-workers Jimmy Fallon, Tracy Morgan and Steve Carrell.

The second episode of 30 Rock‘s fifth season aired last night, and it was hilarious! The episode, titled 5.02 “When it Rains, it Pours”, had so many great plots and awesome lines. Wasn’t Liz’s “Julia Roberts-laugh” crazy-good? If the rest of the season will be this good, we’re in for one of the best seasons of 30 Rock, for sure!

As mentioned in the previous post, Tina Fey guested the opening monologue of yesterday’s episode of Saturday Night Live, hosted by Amy Poehler. Tina and Jimmy Fallon said they would do “Weekend Update” instead of her, as a part of Amy’s nightmare sequence.

Here are screen captures from that, as well as the ending credits where Tina appeared with a tiny hat (which she put on an ecstatic Katy Perry’s head).

The season premiere of 30 Rock finally aired last night, and it sure was a great one! The episode, titled “The Fabian Strategy” and written by Tina Fey, had some great storylines and lines. Is Liz getting an adult relationship (I know, she hates that word) at last?

She looked gorgeous as she talked about her old TV-commercial, partying at the Emmys, the upcoming season of 30 Rock and more. She even participated in a game of Charades at the end of the show.
